Food Pantry Services

Our Food Pantry is the heartbeat of the Zion Community Enrichment Center. Open multiple days each week, our pantry
provides free, nutritious food to individuals and families in our community who are experiencing food insecurity. We stock a
wide range of items — fresh produce, proteins, dairy, grains, and pantry staples — sourced through food bank partnerships,
local grocery donations, and community food drives.
We believe access to food is a right, not a privilege. That’s why we work hard to ensure our pantry is welcoming, well
stocked, and free from stigma. Every person who walks through our doors is treated with dignity and respect. Our trained
volunteers are on hand to help clients navigate available resources and connect them with additional support services as
needed.

Eligibility Requirements

Our pantry serves residents within our local service area. We ask for a simple proof of residence (such as a utility bill or ID with a local address). There are no income verification forms or lengthy applications — just a commitment to serve those in need quickly and compassionately. Households may visit once per week

How to Access Services

Simply visit our center during pantry hours — no appointment needed. First-time visitors can complete a brief intake form that helps us better serve your household's needs. Returning clients check in at the front desk. Walk-ins are always welcome, and we strive to ensure no one waits long

Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteers to sort and stock shelves, assist clients, manage intake, and help with food drives. No experience is necessary — just a willing heart and a few hours each week. Group volunteering is also available for schools, businesses, and faith communities.

“We served over 6,000 pounds of food last month alone — and every pound represents a real family, a real meal, and a
real moment of relief.”
