Knowledge is nourishment too. The Zion Community Enrichment Center is committed to providing educational resources that
empower our community members to make informed decisions about food, health, and sustainability. We believe that access
to information is just as important as access to food — and we’re here to provide both.
Our library of free downloadable guides covers topics
including meal planning on a budget, understanding food
labels, reducing food waste at home, and navigating
community assistance programs. Printed copies are
available at the center.
Beyond food, we connect community members to a broader
network of support — including housing assistance
referrals, utility bill aid, healthcare navigation, childcare
resources, and job training programs. If we can’t help
directly, we’ll connect you to someone who can.
Created in partnership with registered dietitians, our
nutritional guides help families make the most of the foods
available in our pantry and at local markets. We offer guides
tailored to specific health needs including diabetes, heart
health, and child nutrition.
We maintain an updated directory of local and regional
partner organizations including food banks, health clinics,
legal aid services, and educational programs. These links
are available on our website and in our printed resource
guide at the front desk.
